Welcome to my practice! I am Marianna Andrianakou, an expat psychologist who offers sessions in english and greek, in the heart of Amsterdam or online. As a psychologist (mSc clinical psychology) and gestalt-therapist (in training) I am deeply committed to creating a therapeutic space rooted in empathy, warmth, and inclusivity.
I view healing as a pathway, a living, shifting journey that unfolds at your own pace, not a straight line or a final destination you arrive at once and for all.
Each person walks a different path. Some paths are steady; others twist through uncertainty before opening into clarity. Sometimes you move forward, sometimes you pause, and sometimes you discover new directions you didn’t know were there.
In therapy, we walk these pathways together. Not by pushing or determining where you “should” go, but by exploring, listening, and honoring what emerges along the way.
Through our work together, the journey becomes a space for acceptance, integration, and discovery. Wherever you begin, your path is valid. And you don’t have to walk it alone.

Some practical information:
sessions can be held either in person in the heart of Amsterdam (Keizersgracht 394) or online. The cost is the same for in-person and online sessions and it is possible to alternate between the two types.
The rate has been decided taking into consideration
- The time, money and resources that the Psychologist spends to maintain an ongoing connection to the advances of the field
- Dutch market and tax rate
- Ongoing costs such as supervision and administrative costs

Cancellation Policy: Missed appointments without a 24h notice still need to be paid in full amount.
Complaints procedure: If there is a complaint, you can share it with me directly so we can talk about it. Complaints can also be directed towards the Nederlandse Instituut Psycholoog
Note: The office entrance has stairs and narrow halls and is therefore not accessible for wheelchair users or people with decreased mobility.
